Samhain Soiree in a Secret Speakeasy

You are invited to an enchanting evening in an elegant & exclusive speakeasy, where we will honor the peak of the Samhain portal in an atmosphere of elegance and mystery. This private event promises to be a night of connection, reflection, and immersive experiences, all while honoring the veil between worlds.

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, November 7th (Solar Samhain)

• Time: 8pm - 11pm

• Location: Secret Speakeasy location in East Portland, OR

• Dress Code: Elegant and dark attire in shades of red and/or black. This dress code will be strictly enforced.

• Rules: No photos or videos allowed in the space unless you are the photographer or videographer. While phones are permitted to be kept in pockets or purses, we encourage guests to fully immerse themselves in the experience without distractions.

  
  

Special Libations

The bar will offer special themed libations with non-alcoholic options designed to enhance the mystical atmosphere.

Ritual and Immersive Experiences

The evening will include a guided ritual to honor the Spirits and reflect on the turning of the seasonal wheel. Participants will engage in collective shadow work, exploring themes of transformation and release. In addition to the ritual, guests will have the opportunity to engage in immersive experiences, such as tarot readings and altar petitions, where you can explore your inner selves and set intentions for the Witch's New Year.

Music and Atmosphere

DJ Dark Sparkle, who is the resident DJ for the Witches Ball of the West and Spellbound events in the Portland area. This special veiled guest DJ will be spinning haunting, ethereal, and sultry sounds.

Closing the Samhain Portal

Samhain is the 3rd of the Harvest Sabbats, which are High Holy Days for Witches. Traditionally, Samhain fell on October 31st, so that has remained the Gregorian Calendar date. However, TRUE Samhain shifts according to the moon and stars. Astrological or "true" Solar Samhain is when the Sun is at 15 degrees Scorpio, which is on November 7th this year. Lunar Samhain is the Scorpio Dark Moon, which is Monday, November 9th.
